The crowd - who most probably skipped their Sunday Sarawak Laksa breakfast ritual that morning - had converged early at the Colosseum I, Pullman Hotel - the venue for Joey Yap's annual Feng Shui & Astrology for 2011 seminar in Kuching, Sarawak.

The participants had gathered early at the registration counter and product booths outside the hall, excited to get started with the event - the first time ever held in Kuching! - to learn all they can from Joey.

The charismatic speaker himself kicked off the seminar at 10am with a quick overview for 2011, the Year of the Metal Rabbit. He went to share his insights and forecast for the year, outlining the outlook for various industries in terms of Feng Shui.

As this seminar is themed "Empowering Your Destiny", Joey focused his talk on basic BaZi (Astrology), Face Reading and Date Selection, useful applications to give the attendees an edge to make the best of 2011.

The BaZi outlook session, which incorporated individual Day Masters, was a crowd favorite as all were intrigued to know more about BaZi Profiling. In the Face Reading segment - also another favorite - Joey demonstrated the fascinating reason how certain parts of the year are able to affect certain parts of a person's face depending on their Animal Sign. The audience, no doubt, had a fun time learning these methods and was eager to put the skills they learnt then and there.

Joey also explained the Annual Afflictions for the year, things to watch out for, and remedies to 'cure' or at least minimize the negative effects from those inauspicious sectors of the year.

The seminar ended with the participants looking excited to put the new knowledge gained to full use and empower their destiny this Year of the Metal Rabbit.
