Singapore kicked off the Asian leg of Joey Yap's annual Feng Shui & Astrology for 2011 seminar on January 15. Raffles City Convention Centre saw a huge turn out that Saturday morning as throngs of eager enthusiasts and also first timers gathered early for the event.
Joey was equally thrilled to be back at the Lion City and was all raring to go to share with the participants his insights and forecast for 2011, the Year of the Metal Rabbit. The theme for this year's seminar is "Empowering Your Destiny", where Joey also taught the participants some basic BaZi (Astrology), Face Reading and Date Selection, useful applications to give them an edge to face the rest of the year.
Crowd favorites, as always, goes to the BaZi outlook that incorporates individual Day Masters, and the Face Reading segment, where Joey demonstrates the intriguing reason how certain parts of the year are able to affect certain parts of a person's face depending on their Astrology sign. The participants had a fun time learning these methods and were excited to put the skills they learnt immediately.
Joey also revealed the Feng Shui forecast for the year, outlining the outlook for various industries. All participants were all ears when he went on to explain the Annual Afflictions for the year, what people should watch out for, and remedies to 'cure' or at least minimize the negative effects of those inauspicious sectors.
The Singapore event was rather special this time around as the participants here were the first to grab Joey's latest book, released on that day itself, entitled 'The Ten Gods'. This much-anticipated book is a great complement to the BaZi Destiny Code book series. It was to no surprise that volumes of this title were sold out by lunch time, and many participants had to pre-order their copy.
Towards the end of the event, there was a book-signing session where many participants seized the opportunity to have a quick chat and photo of with Joey.
The Singapore seminar marked another successful event for Joey and the Mastery Academy Team, thanks to the overwhelming support from all who attended. Each participant walked away with valuable information to help them empower their lives this 2011.
