Dato' Joey Yap joined 80 potential property owners in a special property launch event organized by Country Garden Properties (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. The event was held at Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on December 14, 2013 and it lasted for an hour from 4.00pm. As this is a property-related event, Dato' gave an informative talk titled Feng Shui for Property Buyers, which elaborated on the many aspects of property purchase from the Feng Shui viewpoint.

Dato' began his talk by revealing the positive and negative property sectors for year of the Wood Horse (2014), which included the impact these areas have on the occupants. He reminded the occupants on the importance of utilizing the right sector of a house for specific activities in order to achieve specific goals or results in life. He addressed issues related to having negative sectors in important areas of a property by an explanation that urged property owners to focus on positive sectors in a property, instead of the negative ones.

Towards the end of his talk, he also elaborated on the positive landforms that potential buyers should keep an eye for and how a property can be benefited from the auspicious Qi of a positive external environment.
