Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, marked the final stop for Joey Yap's Feng Shui & Astrology for 2012 seminar tour. Held at Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa, the relaxing seaside setting made an ideal location for a Sunday spent learning new things to make the most of this Water Dragon year.
This is the first time Joey brought his annual seminar to Sabah - much to the delight of his many fans here in the Eastern state of Malaysia. Joey was eager to meet with the participants, especially those new to Chinese Metaphysics study. As the seminar finally began at 10am, the crowd was all ears when Joey gave an introduction to what they will learn in this day-long seminar from Feng Shui to BaZi (Astrology), to Mian Xiang (Face Reading) and Ze Ri (Date Selection).
He then went on to review 2011's BaZi and Feng Shui Flying Stars forecasts, where he had also predicted several major events that took place last year. The audience was clearly captivated by the evidence that supported Joey's predictions.
He further explained about BaZi and how it is important for one to understand themselves better in order to find success and happiness in life. At the same time, he also guided the participants on the simple ways to read their BaZi Chart - identifying the Day Master, Structure and Profile.
The Face Reading session brought much amusement from the audience as they learnt how to interpret faces and discovered how every line, mark and feature represents much about their personality. They were amazed that the face can 'say' so much on the aspects of life like health, wealth and relationship. Joey also showed how to relate facial features to the Five Elements such as the chin, eyebrows and mouth, which defines the Water element in Face Reading.
The audience was very attentive when Joey brought up the subject on the Annual Afflictions and Flying Stars for 2012. He shared useful tips on neutralizing the negative effects of those afflictions in cases where negative sectors are unavoidable.
He also spoke on the Xuan Kong Nine Life Stars - how each individual have his/her unique Life Star and how the Xuan Kong method works in determining a person's Favorable and Unfavorable Directions that can influence the important aspects of their lives. By knowing one's Life Star - in addition to one's BaZi - every individual has the potential to maximize their strengths and overcome their weaknesses to affect positive changes in life, not only for this Water Dragon year but throughout their lifetime as well.
Date Selection also intrigued the audience as they learnt about choosing the right date for important endeavors in life as this can also affect its outcome. Joey explained how Date Selection works and went on to reveal the Auspicious and Inauspicious Dates in 2012, which the participants were all obviously glad for it.
The event ended with a book signing session, where many took the opportunity to get up-close with Joey before heading home, eager to put what they've learnt into practice.
