Legacy

The traditional practice of Feng Shui itself has its origins in Yin Houses (otherwise known as burial grounds or tombs). In the ancient days, this art was known as Kan Yu, which means the study of forces between Heaven and Earth. During the Tang Dynasty, it was used to help select burial spots.

In the days of the Imperial Dynasties of Ming and Qing, as well, more attention was paid to Yin House than Yang House. It was only as Feng Shui developed and evolved over the years that an equal amount of attention was given to Yang Houses (otherwise known as places for the living).

Extreme Potency

Yin House Feng Shui is an extremely potent form of Feng Shui that has long-term effects and consequences on an individual's lineage and descendants.

Ancient Chinese dynasties and its emperors used Yin House Feng Shui extensively to ensure the prosperity and longevity of their empires. For example, Zhu Yuan Zhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, was laid to rest in a tomb in Nanjing that has excellent Feng Shui. The powerful Feng Shui formations around the tomb ensured the success of the subsequent 15 Ming Emperors... resulting in one of the longest-lived dynasties in the history of China!

Hung Hin Cheong

Master

Practitioner. Instructor. Author.

Mr. Hung Hin Cheong is a Master Feng Shui practitioner and has been an instructor for the Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics since 2006.

He is also the author of six Feng Shui reference books which are published by JY Books Sdn Bhd under the Reference Series. Aside from being an accomplished writer and author, he has also been considered an affable and instrumental teacher who has taught Feng Shui, Xuan Kong and Date Selection to students. His teaching style has been described by his students as “professorial” – a testimony to his engineering background which enabled him to delve and reformulate the often abstract and ambiguous Chinese metaphysical concepts into a structured, logical and practical framework.

Coupled with his wry sense of humour and inimitable style of writing, Mr. Hung is considered as one of the Mastery Academy’s rare instructors whose Feng Shui knowledge is both instructive and entertaining.

Corporate Roots

Mr. Hung has led a distinguished and illustrious career for over 30 years. He graduated from University of Leeds, England in 1969 with a 1st Class Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He then spearheaded his meteoric career growth, first as an engineer and then as a business manager with several multi-national companies. His last corporate position was as a CEO for an electrical plant manufacturer, overseeing operations in Malaysia, UAE, China, Indonesia and Australia and as a Director of a public listed company on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.

In 2001, he decided to make the bold decision to retire from the corporate world and devote more time to his long-standing interest in Chinese Metaphysics.

A New Life in Chinese Metaphysics

Mr. Hung was first heralded into the world of Chinese Metaphysics in the early 1990’s and was tutored on the subject by a master. This only fueled his desire to learn more about Feng Shui and its diverse range of subjects and disciplines under the Chinese Metaphysics umbrella. However, he often found himself disappointed and felt dissatisfied on the approaches used to divulge the subject especially with analytical mind frame he is so accustomed to at his corporate life. He was determined to expand his metaphysical knowledge, he attended his first class with the Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics in 2004, studying under Dato’ Joey Yap and this proved to be the turning point in his exciting and new course in life.

Since embarking on his quest for better fulfillment in Feng Shui, Mr. Hung successfully transformed himself from the role of a dedicated student and graduated to become much sought after Master Feng Shui practitioner, teacher and author.

Yin House Feng Shui Specialist

In addition to his lecturing duties, Mr. Hung’s role as a master practitioner also equipped him with the ability to apply San-He or Xuan Kong techniques according to the needs of the job at hand. While many other consultants would only take on Yang House Feng Shui (Feng Shui for the houses of the living), Mr. Hung would have no qualms about taking on Yin House Feng Shui (Feng Shui for tombs and graves) as well – a much misunderstood topic which is normally shunned due to social taboos. Such was his dedication and passion for the subject that he is currently one of the leading specialists on the subject in Malaysia.

Accomplished Author

Besides being a master practitioner and instructor, Mr. Hung chose to apply his Chinese Metaphysical skills and knowledge in writing credible and in-depth Feng Shui books to help provide a more meticulous and analytical study on the various subjects and disciplines in Feng Shui. To date he has written 6 books, all of which are published by JY Books Sdn Bhd under the Reference Series. They are: “Xuan Kong Purple White Script 玄空紫白訣”, “Secrets of Xuan Kong 玄空秘旨”, “Ode to Mysticism 玄機賦”, “Ode to Flying Stars 飛星賦”, “The Yin House Handbook 陰宅手册” and “Water Water Everywhere 三合水法深討”.
