Contract of Sales
The duly completed Registration Form together with these Terms and Conditions constitute the Contract of Sales.

Registration
Registration of participants is considered complete upon receipt of the duly filled registration form accompanied by full payment of the course/event fee under either our Cash Option Plan or our Installment Plan.

Fees and Payment terms
Full payment either by Cash or by Installment Plan should be made at least 30 days before the commencement date of the course or event.

If payment is made by cheque, it should be crossed payable to Joey Yap Research International Sdn Bhd.

Withdrawal, Substitution and Refund
A participant may withdraw from the course/event provided notice in writing (by email, letter or fax) is received not less than six weeks before the commencement date of the course/event. A cancellation charge equivalent to 20% of the course/event fee will be charged and the balance of 80% of the fees (if already paid up) will be refundable within 30 days of notification.

No refund will be allowed within six weeks prior to the commencement date of the course but a replacement is welcome with written notice (together with particulars of the replacement participant) received at least 7 days before the course/event date.

A participant may postpone his/her attendance to a future date but such request is allowed only once within a timeframe of 12 months from the original date of registration and the request must be made in writing at least six weeks before the commencement date of the course/event. If a similar course is not available within the 12-month timeframe, the participant may attend another course provided that he/she settles the excess of any course price differential in full. No refund will be allowed if the participant elects to do a cheaper course or fails to find a suitable replacement course within the 12-month timeframe.

No prior notice received or no show will be deemed as withdrawn and no refund will be allowed.

Intellectual Property
Joey Yap and/or Joey Yap Research International Sdn Bhd own all intellectual property rights developed and used in the course/event. In conducting the course/event, the rights to any intellectual property shall not be transferred or assigned to the participants and the title to all such intellectual property remains with the owner. The participants may only use such materials for personal and educational purposes. They may not alter any of our intellectual property or the materials, copy or reproduce the contents or sell the intellectual property or the materials to any third parties.

Taping
No audio taping or videotaping of the sessions is allowed.

General
Joey Yap Research International Sdn Bhd and/or its associates reserve the right to change the times, dates, venue or speaker as it deemed necessary without penalty.

In the event of cancellation by Joey Yap Research International without any replacement course/event being rescheduled, the participant may claim for a refund of the course/event fee paid but he/she shall make no claims against Joey Yap Research International Sdn Bhd for any loss suffered.

Joey Yap Research International will not be responsible for any cancellation resulting from force majeure occurrence such as strikes, riots, fire, flood, or any other events that may occur beyond its control but will use its best efforts to re-schedule a replacement course/event where possible.

Joey Yap Research International and/or its associates reserve the right to use the participants' testimonials, videos, audio, images and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes.

All notices or other communications must be made to the address specified in the Registration Form.

This contract of sales constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Any prior arrangements, agreements, representations or undertakings are superseded unless it is in writing and made a part of this contract of sales.
