If the positioning of certain things in your home is less than desirable, learn to work around them, rather than giving up. Most of us favour portability in our furniture for obvious reasons. But when it comes to Feng Shui, we want things to be as solid as a rock. Feng Shui is about stability, and achieving a balance in your property. We do not want our beds to glide on the floor nor do we want a stove that can be disassembled in many pieces. We want things to stay put, in the right spot, all the time.

But, this doesn't mean that Feng Shui is inflexible. In fact, Feng Shui can be enhanced, reworked in many ways and most importantly, it shouldn't be fled down by your household equipments. If you are everfaced with difficulties in your application, work around it because there's always another solution to your problems.

The most essential element in your kitchen is the stove. Place your stove on a solid surface and ensure as a general rule, your stove is not positioned infront of any doors used to enter the kitchen. Also, make sure that your stove is not one with wheels or is placed on top of a revolving tray.

If you're renting, and find it hard to reposition your stove, ask yourself whether or not a move is necessary in the first place. Otherwise, things should stay put as they are. in addition, you don't necessarily have to move your stove- instead, try to play around with other items in your house.

The bedroom is where you spend most of your time in, so what you put in your room can affect you the most- especially when we're talking about a wheeled bed, atheyare not good for the Qi of your room. Bear in mind that a good bed is one that is not moving and planted firmly to the ground. After that, find a good position for your bed- against a solid wall- and keep to it. Remember, you don't need a moving bed like the ones in a hospice. You need only a good position for your bed.

When it comes to the bathroom, we understand that it's difficult to move your toilet bowl for good Feng Shui arrangement. But, the same rule applies here- if you cannot change A, move B instead. As such, consider, repositioning the other items surrounding your washroom, instead of the other way round.

For instance, if your toilet bowl is positioned in straight line above your dining table, move the dining table. Move your stove, when a clash with toilet bowl is spotted. Or your bed, when necessary.

Don't restrict yourself only because you can't fiddle with the unmovable objects in your household. Sometimes, Feng Shui tickles your creativity as well. You need to think out of the box. Find another angle. Be flexible.
