KOTA KINABALU: There are signs of growth and improvement in the Year of the Water Snake after a tough year of the Water Dragon, said Feng Shui practitioner Joey Yap.
According to him, the wealth element this year is stronger compared to 2012 so there are actually signs of growth and improvement. Since there are wood and fire elements related, which are also East and South related, therefore Southeast Asia countries would see improvements and growth.
Joey said 2012 had been tough on many. The global economic climate has witnessed a slow progression with rising inflation across Europe and America, dragging along the income growth of developing countries growth.
The business world has felt the heat of the recession and its lackluster recovery, so much so that some analysts dubbed the significant downturn as an 'economic apocalypse'.
However, despite a turbulent year, there were those who still managed to overcome the challenges-turned their lives around and found success. These people were able to see the opportunities that lie within the year and carve a path out of the storm.
"Comparing the Year of the Water Dragon with the Year of the Water Snake should include place and context as different places in the world will have different outcome. Hence, the first thing we need to look at is the favorable element of 2013 compared to 2012," he explained.
"In the Year of the Water Dragon, the wealth element was weak which saw the global financial crisis. Also that year, the competitive element is very strong which denotes that people are generally competing for wealth and business," he revealed.
